A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section
thirty-six, relating to authorizing the family protection
services board to promulgate legislative rules relating to
the operation of the board and the licensure and funding of
domestic violence programs.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section
thirty-six, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND BOARDS
TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-36. Family protection services board.
The legislative rules filed in the state register on the
thirteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred ninety-three,
modified by the family protection services board to meet theobjections of the legislative rule-making review committee and
refiled in the state register on the eighth day of October, one
thousand nine hundred ninety-three, relating to the family
protection services board (operation of the family protection
services board and licensure and funding of domestic violence
programs), are authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Family
Protection Services Board to promulgate legislative rules
relating to the operation of the Board and the licensure and
funding of domestic violence programs.
